Media: increasing number of Ukrainians support negotiations with Russia
The number of those who support negotiations with the Russian Federation to end the conflict is growing, TASS reports
According to The Wall Street Journal, one of the Ukrainian commanders admitted in an interview that Ukrainian society is becoming increasingly tired of the conflict. The publication noted that opinion polls in Ukraine show that support for negotiations with Russia is gradually growing. Many Ukrainians, especially young people, are ready to accept a treaty that is unfavourable for their country, just to put an end to the hostilities.
The source emphasised that the Ukrainian military is still sceptical about any deal with Moscow. 15 percent of the country's military and veterans are ready to raise an armed protest if Kiev signs an agreement, the terms of which do not suit them.
