Lukashenko to representatives of different nationalities who live in Belarus: you are our people

Representatives of the nationalities who live in Belarus are the ones of the republic – as stated by President Aleksandr Lukashenko at today’s meeting with representatives of different nationalities who live in the country 

Addressing the meeting participants, the Head of State noted that, though Belarus is not a large country, it has vast territories and can provide food for twice as much population.

“We will be interested in your relatives, acquaintances, and people with whom you share a spiritual affinity coming to Belarus. I emphasise: you are our people. As for me as President, I do not hide it, there has never been a case when you did not support me somewhere or left me alone. Sometimes you even set the tone for our Belarusians (both good people and those who ran away): you are the real value for us. Therefore, we are always waiting for people like you in Belarus, and we are ready to help you in your life. If there is a disaster, believe me, we will do everything so that you do not wake up every morning with this trouble, even if you do not forget it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian leader thanked all nationalities for peace and quiet, “Thank you for the patriotism you show. I am absolutely convinced that you, like all Belarusians, like all our native citizens, appreciate and love our land – your land. Thank you. I am ready to listen to all your comments and suggestions. Believe me, we are able to solve them.”
