Media: former Deputy Defence Minister arrested in the UK on suspicion of paedophilia

Former British Deputy Defence Minister Ivor Caplin has been detained on suspicion of paedophilia, TASS reports with reference to The Sun

According to the source, Mr. Caplin was arrested at the railway station in the city of Hove as he came there to meet with an underage boy.

Police confirmed the arrest of the 66-year-old man and said they had launched an investigation. As reported, Mr. Caplin was suspended from the Labour Party over undisclosed serious allegations in June 2024.
