MAZ to consider Wildberries partnership
A mission from Wildberries, the largest Russian online marketplace, visited Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ) to discuss partnership prospects, MAZ media centre informed
Founded in 2004, Wildberries is an online marketplace that now operates in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Uzbekistan and tops the list of 100 largest Russian marketplaces. The company claims to process 10+ million orders per day, with 350 million products stored in its warehouses simultaneously. Over 10 million items are released from Wildberries warehouses daily. The company operates 36,000+ pick-up points.
Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ) is the flagship company of the Belarusian automotive industry. The company specialises in cargo trucks, trailers, passenger and utility vehicles; its product range includes about 500 models and variations of rigid and all-wheel drive vehicles, dump trucks, trailer beds, towing vehicles, logging trucks, trailers and semi-trailers, cranes, special-purpose vehicles, along with 15 bus, trolleybus, and electric bus models.
“Supported by Wildberries representatives in Belarus, a task group from the marketplace visited Minsk Automobile Works. We showed our guests how we make trucks, as well as MAZ-Kupava trailers and cabins. They discussed projected interaction areas and partnership venues with MAZ leadership," clarified the media centre.
