Markov: without West’s military assistance to Kiev, hostilities in Ukraine would have ended long ago
The Ukrainian army continues to oppose the Russian army solely thanks to the supply of military equipment and weapons from Western countries which deliberately drag out the conflict in this way – as noted by Marat Markov, the Chairman of the Board of the Second National TV Channel, during his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel
Marat Markov gave several figures as an example, “The Ukrainian army had a couple of hundred aircraft at the time of the start of the special operation. More than 300 have already been destroyed, and they continue to fly. What is this about? The West, which accuses Iran and Belarus (anyone!) of participating in the conflict, itself supplies weapons to Kiev. So without this help, the war would have ended long ago!”
While the West continues to send weapons to Ukraine, the situation in the region is heating up. A difficult situation is developing near the Belarusian borders and in the western direction, so the security forces are paying increased attention to their protection. This topic is being actively discussed in society: the Head of State instructed the country’s security bloc to conduct a broad explanation of the military-political situation for the population.
“President Aleksandr Lukashenko is now publicly showing citizens the issues that need to be dealt with. Because there’s nothing to hide here! A clear understanding is necessary: everyone should do their job,” added Marat Markov. “The President, as a guarantor of the security of the state, is now addressing those issues, whether it be the economy, food or military equipment that are primarily urgent at this particular moment.”
