Markov: programme implemented in Ukraine was first supposed to happen in Belarus in 2020

Belarusian fugitives continue to speak out. One of the leaders of the so-called Sports Solidarity Fund said in particular that the events of 2020 in Belarus were inspired by external forces, and ‘democratic’ media, which are not such, also played a role in shaking up the whole situation. In his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel, Chairman of the Board of the Second National TV Channel Marat Markov explains why such statements are being made right now.

Marat Markov believes that people who fled the country are beginning to understand that it is now impossible to repeat the 2020 scenario in Belarus, “So they started talking one after another. He is not the first and certainly not the last. However, he said the main thing: there was no coup in Belarus, although from the outside they tried to turn us into the first strike force against Russia. This was exactly the goal. The entire programme, which was later implemented in Ukraine, should have first been realised in Belarus.”

The speaker also commented on NATO’s desire to expand, “Both Sweden and Finland are trying to involve Armenia, Georgia, Romania in the alliance. All these countries are actually a ring around Russia, which was formed in the strategy a long time ago. Now this formation is entering its final stage. Moreover, when Finland joined NATO, it immediately doubled Russia’s border with NATO. What’s about Sweden? A small country with a population of about 10 million people, which boasts wonderful infrastructure, excellent production, including the military industry, which largely provides the army itself. This army ranks 37th in the world and 11th in Europe despite the number of 15,000 people. There is such a thing as a ‘skeleton’ army. Their entire officer corps is staff members. They are capable of deploying troops of up to 4 million if necessary. Every year, 4 percent of the population undergoes military training. This means that they are able to mobilise if necessary. The decision our President made regarding tactical nuclear weapons greatly reduced the likelihood that we would be next. We can also recall Putin’s statement: if there is an attack on Belarus, it will be repelled as if it were an attack on Russia. Why doesn’t America want to fight Russia directly, with its own hands? Because this is obviously a nuclear conflict, which will not be good for anyone. All the rest will fight until the last Ukrainian, Swede, Moldavian, Pole until they really exhaust Russia so that it can be taken with bare hands,” summed up Marat Markov.
