When asked by the journalist whether he is ready to press the ‘red button’, the Belarusian leader noted, “Firstly, everyone around has already pressed these ‘red buttons’, all those along the perimeter of Belarus and Russia have done this. Only the reddest of them has remained to be pressed. Therefore, from a moral point of view, when making such decisions, it is probably somehow uncomfortable to talk about this by me and Putin. Secondly, when tactical nuclear weapons were brought here, I told them bluntly: we are not going to use any weapons until you step on our state border, which is also the border of the Union State. According to our agreement, Russia redeploys its units (they have been determined) into Belarus, and we take the first blow. Russians then back us up in reserve. It is a common war of Belarus and Russia against these beasts. Should we wait until they trample our country – like they did 85 years ago? No. Therefore, we will respond immediately and adequately. If they want this not to happen, let's sit down at the negotiating table and end this fight, which neither Ukrainians, nor Russians, nor Belarusians need. It is they [Anglo-Saxons] who need it.”

The Head of State referred to information that he could not disclose due to its secrecy, “High-ranking people openly say: let them – Ukrainians, Russians – beat each other. Let all of them die in this cauldron. These are high-ranking officials talking about it. I'll tell you a little bit: they are of American origin. Is this normal? They want us to destroy each other.”
