Lukashenko visited Holy Transfiguration Church in Vetka

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has visited the Holy Transfiguration Church in Vetka and lit a candle, BelTA reports

The President also laid flowers at a memorial sign near the church dedicated to the settlements that ceased to exist as a result of the Chernobyl tragedy.

The Head of State was presented with The Mother of God of the Victims of Chernobyl icon. The same icon is present in the church visited by Aleksandr Lukashenko.
