Lukashenko: Ulyanovsk Region known for its innovative approaches in field of youth education
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has tackled the issue of co-operation in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals during his today’s meeting with the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region of Russia, Aleksei Russkikh
“The implementation of the Union State project – Treatment of Citizens of Belarus and Russia Using Proton Therapy – is a good example of co-operation in these areas,” the Head of State noted. “Taking this opportunity, I want to thank you for the help that you have been rendering to Belarusians.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the Ulyanovsk Region is also famous for its innovative approaches in the field of education and upbringing of young people, “We are moving in parallel. Like you, a system of support for the talented youth has been created in Belarus. Taking into account our prospects of joining BRICS, the activity of the Ulyanovsk project office of the international youth co-operation, Russia – BRICS, is of particular interest. Among the popular projects that are being implemented there are public diplomacy, volunteering, preservation of historical and cultural heritage, education, and sports.”
