Lukashenko: Ukraine today is testing ground where future of world order is decided

Everyone understands that Ukraine is now a testing ground where the fate of the future world order is partly decided, with the largest nuclear powers, albeit indirectly, actually already fighting on its territory – as stated today by President Aleksandr Lukashenko during the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress

“And no longer indirectly. The Ukrainian government has come down to a deal with the West, exchanging weapons for the lives of Ukrainians. It’s painful to see this, but let’s separate ourselves from this and look at what has happened philosophically: who has become stronger in this new round of West-East confrontation? Not us?.. But not them either!” the Belarusian leader said.

The President noted that new attempts to crush Russians, Belarusians, Slavs, to destroy the sense of national pride and culture united and motivated us to restore our former power, “And they shook people up. Everyone who looks at the Ukrainian and other geopolitical tragedies understands (even if it is not spoken out loud) that those who are ready to serve any master for handouts, lose sooner or later.”

According to the Head of State, everyone understands that betrayal of the past and traditions weakens, leading to the collapse of statehood.

“Meanwhile, some are waiting for the final, like, e.g., Poland, which has its own claims against Ukraine. You remember this from books, especially the Volyn massacre. The outcome will be dramatic if they don’t stop. But it will be. And, apparently, the previous order will not save,” the President added.
