During the conversation, the journalist recalled the recent statement of the Head of State regarding possible plans for Ukraine's admission to NATO in parts and the transfer of part of its lands to Poland. "Will Western Ukraine go to Poland?" she asked the President, and Aleksandr Lukashenko replied, “I think not. I think that Ukrainians themselves will not allow it. Zelenskyy is moving along this line: you have made some kind of decision that Polish policemen or civil servants are almost equated with Ukrainian ones.”

"The information field is being warmed up for this. They are preparing [the population] for this step,” Diana Panchenko noted.

"Yes, that's what I hear. Moreover, military units of assistance to Ukraine have already been created in Poland. If they come to your territory, you will not then throw them out – since Poland is backed by the US. So this will be a Polish territory. Why not accept it into NATO in this case? They will create grounds for this, so all are getting prepared. You – journalists – were the first to say this. You said what we – politicians – were just starting to see. Therefore, this preparation is underway. This is unacceptable for us, as well as for Russians. In order not to break Ukraine up and introduce it in parts into somewhere, it is necessary to stop here and do everything to preserve this integrity of Ukraine. Talks will then need to follow. You should understand that this is the paramount task for now: it is necessary for you, Ukrainians," the Head of State stressed.

"We need it. We need peace, everyone needs peace," the journalist agreed.
