Lukashenko on Ukraine: I warned everyone this would end badly

President Aleksandr Lukashenko touched upon the situation in and around Ukraine during his speech at the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress, recalling that everything was divided, robbed and stolen during the presidency of all Ukrainian leaders: from the first to the last

“I have already said more than once that colour revolutions don’t start from nothing and don’t win out of thin air,” the Head of State noted. “It does not take much effort to bring people out into the streets and collapse the country where the nation is plunged into poverty, while the pockets at the top are bursting with stolen money. It is enough to remind about accounts in foreign banks and the rulers themselves will give up their country. There are plenty of such examples: from Haiti to the Philippines. As far as Ukraine is concerned, all this was not created under Volodymyr Zelenskyy alone, and he is not the only one to blame for what’s happening. In front of my eyes, everything was divided, robbed and stolen during the presidency of all Ukrainian leaders: from the first to the last. Frankly speaking, I warned everyone that this would end badly. New presidents came, but the people hated them just like the previous ones. That’s how it ended now.”
