Lukashenko: Minsk, Ankara have many interesting projects across various areas
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the national holiday – Republic Day – sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Over the years of independence, your country has undoubtedly achieved significant successes in all spheres of state building. Modern Turkiye is confidently moving along the path of progress and modernisation, playing an important role in maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted, “Minsk and Ankara are linked by many interesting projects across various areas: from trade and investment to humanitarian sphere. The number of Belarusians who visit your sunny country for tourism purposes increases every year. Due to the developed transport communications and the cancellation of the visa regime, Turkish citizens also have excellent opportunities to feel the distinctive features of the Belarusian character: hospitality and sincerity.”
“I recall with great pleasure our informative meeting in Astana in July 2024. I am ready to continue our bilateral contacts and will gratefully take advantage of your invitation to pay an official visit to Turkiye,” the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan strong health and success in his political activities, and wished the friendly Turkish people good health and success in their political endeavours.
