Lukashenko, Japarov discuss current state and prospects of Belarus-Kyrgyzstan liaisons
The current state and prospects for co-operation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan were discussed today during a telephone conversation between the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, and the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
The leaders of the two countries exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Sadyr Japarov noted a significant increase in trade-economic interaction in 2022 and the importance of continuing the implementation and development of joint co-operation projects. The heads of state also discussed integration topics, including taking into account the priorities and tasks of the Belarusian chairmanship in the CSTO. In general, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are effectively liaising on the platforms of various associations, including the CIS, the Eurasian Economic Union, and the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation.
