Lukashenko had telephone conversation with Zyuganov

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Central Committee of Russia’s Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Gennady Zyuganov thanked Aleksandr Lukashenko for congratulating him on his 80th birthday, celebrated by the leader of the Communist Party in June this year.

During the telephone conversation, they discussed co-operation between the Communist Party of Belarus and Russia.

The two sides also discussed the issue of holding the 2nd international anti-fascist forum, which is scheduled in Minsk this autumn (the first such forum was also organised in Belarus a year ago). Gennady Zyuganov invited Aleksandr Lukashenko to the forum – to be attended by more than a hundred guests from all over the world.
