Lukashenko gave good advice to farmers: sowing is an art
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko gave advice to farmers on how to sow efficiently, BelTA reports
“The main thing is that sowing is an art. If he [the head of the farm] and an agronomist, not just a farm-machine operator, will be responsible for this (standing on the edge of the field), then sowing will be properly made. When flying I see from above all the flaws, i.e., the sowing machine works somewhere, but somewhere it doesn't work. The farm-machine operator is then sent to sow the field, but he does this alone. No one controls, no one is watching. Meanwhile, it is necessary to sow properly. This is the main thing,” the Head of State said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko complained about other issues as well, “Everything is important now. We have forgotten how to plough. If you look at the field, there are only ridges, meaning that the plough hasn’t been adjusted well. If to plough evenly, then you will need to cultivate less.”
A separate instruction is to protect equipment like the apple of the eye, especially imported samples. In this regard, it is necessary to strain the domestic industry to work more actively in the direction of import substitution.
In general, equipment should be saved.
“In order for the equipment to be normal, it is necessary to bring everything in order at the engine yard, without driving into one gate and leaving through another one. There should be the strictest control in this regard,” Aleksandr Lukashenko advised.
