Central Election Commission: 7m+ ballots prepared for Presidential election in Belarus
More than 7 million ballots have been printed for voting in the Presidential election of the Republic of Belarus – as informed by Secretary of the Central Election Commission Yelena Baldovskaya
“The election ballots have been produced by the Belarusian Press House by order of the Central Election Commission, and their number meets the number of voters. The law provides for the possibility of making a small stock of ballots in case voters spoil some of them. Just over 7 million ballots have been printed,” Ms. Baldovskaya said.
The election ballots are already being distributed among the territorial commissions and the polling stations will receive them by January 20th.
Early voting in the Presidential election of the Republic of Belarus will be held in the country from January 21st to January 25th inclusive, and January 26th is election day.
