Lukashenko extended greetings to Laos on Republic Day

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Thongloun Sisoulith, and the people of this country on Day of the Proclamation of the Republic, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

As noted by the Head of State, despite the current problems and crises, Belarus is well aware of the friendly attitude of the leadership and the people of Laos, as well as the interest in expanding ties between the countries.

"I reaffirm Minsk's desire to intensify co-operation with Vientiane, including trade in engineering and food products, contacts in the fields of education and tourism," the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Thongloun Sisoulith good health and implementation of all his plans and undertakings, also wishing well-being and prosperity to the country’s citizens.
