Lukashenko expressed condolences over death of Hero of Belarus Vasily Revyako
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to the relatives and friends of the Hero of Belarus, Honoured Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Chairman of the Board of Progress-Vertelishki agricultural production co-operative, Vasily Revyako, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
“Please accept my deepest condolences on the death of the Hero of Belarus, an experienced leader, a competent economist and a prominent statesman Vasily Afanasyevich Revyako,” the Head of State noted.
Mr. Revyako is the brightest example of valiant labour and devoted service to the Motherland. His long-term activity was inextricably linked with the development and success of the domestic agricultural and industrial complex, ensuring the country’s food security and creating decent living conditions for people in rural areas.
He has always been distinguished by initiative, love for his native land, respect for a man of work, high moral principles and a sincere desire to strengthen the authority of the Belarusian state.
“The bright memory of Vasily Afanasyevich will remain in the history of the country, the hearts and deeds of his contemporaries for many years to come,” the message of condolences reads.
