Lukashenko: daily routine to follow elections, with the economy at the forefront
The economy in the country comes first, and it must be in the spotlight during the election period as well – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s meeting with the chairmen of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee
Addressing the meeting participants, the Head of State stressed that daily routine will follow the Presidential election, “We need to get prepared for the sowing campaign. It is necessary to sow crops [properly] so that people have a piece of bread on the table. Differently speaking, the economy comes first. The tasks set by now are still relevant, and they refer to agriculture, industry, transport, and so on.”
The Belarusian leader said that, if any help is needed on narrow issues, then his proxies should decide and respond to the criticism of people and their appeals (there were about 500 of them), “We have analysed them. There are no strategic problems. As usual, these are everyday issues – ranging from housing and communal services to transport and roads. We will resolve them.”
