Lukashenko congratulated the people of Austria on their national holiday

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the people of Austria on their national holiday – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Our destinies are cemented by centuries-old cultural, historical and trade ties. Even today they make co-operation between Austrians and Belarusians sustainable, despite active attempts from outside to build barriers and walls,” the congratulatory message reads. “I’m confident that difficult times will pass and we will resume interaction with triple strength and multiply all the achievements gained and accumulated over the past decades for the benefit of both countries and the European continent.”

The Head of State, on behalf of the people of Belarus, wished all residents of Austria a peaceful sky and prosperity.
