Lukashenko congratulated all Indonesians and President of the Republic of Indonesia on Independence Day

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and all Indonesians on the national holiday: Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Sovereign Indonesia can rightfully be proud of its socio-economic successes. Your country occupies one of the leading positions not only in the region, but also in the world in many indicators,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that bilateral relations are predetermined by trust and mutual respect. He confirmed Minsk's desire to expand co-operation with Jakarta in the fields of economy and trade, industrial liaisons and agriculture, education and science.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Joko Widodo good health and new achievements, also wishing peace and further progress in achieving the set goals of national development to the people of Indonesia.
