Lukashenko: Belarus, Turkmenistan managed to build fruitful co-operation across many areas
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“After the collapse of the Soviet Union, our countries – thanks to a common history – managed to maintain friendly relations, to build fruitful interaction across many areas, and to establish new co-operative ties,” the congratulatory message reads. “I am convinced that the positive experience of interaction between Minsk and Ashgabat accumulated over three decades will become the basis for the further successful development of bilateral partnership for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus and Turkmenistan.”
The congratulatory message of the President of Turkmenistan addressed to the President of Belarus states that relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust. “Turkmenistan is keen to expand bilateral ties. I am convinced that thanks to joint efforts, collaboration between our countries will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples,” the congratulatory message says.
