Lukashenko: Belarus must have maximum of domestically-made products
Belarus should produce maximum domestic products in the field of the military-industrial complex, and National Security Concept and Military Doctrine adopted at the Belarusian People's Congress this April are aimed at this – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s conversation with employees of the Legmash plant in Orsha
The Head of State stressed that, according to these documents, the production of military products had begun developing at the Legmash plant.
“The Concept and the Doctrine are good points, and these are the directions along which we will develop. However, the specific issues matter as well. If we talk about defending ourselves, then the question arises of what will be used for that? We pay great attention to this issue, including by creating new production facilities. We know that they operate in Russia and elsewhere, but we cannot rely on them in a wartime. We must have the maximum of our own production. If this is not observed, then neither the Doctrine nor the Concept will work,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
