Belarus attaches great importance to co-operation with the International Atomic Energy Agency – as stated by President Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi

Welcoming the guest, Aleksandr Lukashenko said, “I personally and the people of Belarus are very impressed by your active work, by the work of your and our organisation recently. We see you often and are familiar with your conclusions and statements. We highly appreciate your work related to the safety of nuclear power plants, especially those that turned out to be actually in the combat zone – in Zaporozhye and Kursk. We have heard much good about you, and Russians have told us a lot about your professional approach to solving certain issues. We highly appreciate it.”
