Lukashenko awarded media and healthcare professionals

Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko awarded workers of the media and healthcare institutions at tonight’s reception on behalf of the President of Belarus organised on occasion of the Old New Year celebration, BelTA reports

Chairman of the MIR Interstate Television and Radio Company Radik Batyrshin was honoured with the Order of Francysk Skaryna by the President of Belarus for his significant personal contribution to strengthening peace, friendly relations and co-operation between states, fruitful work to bring together and mutually enrich national cultures, to form and develop a single information space, as well as high achievements in charitable and humanitarian activities.

The President’s letters of gratitude were granted to media professionals for their significant personal contribution to the implementation of state information policy, high professionalism, objective and comprehensive coverage of the events in Belarus’ socio-political and socio-cultural life. These include Deputy Head of the Special Projects Department of the TV News Agency Main Directorate at the National State TV and Radio Company Sergei Baranovsky and Output Editor of the Production Release Department of the TV News Agency Main Directorate at the National State TV and Radio Company Gleb Gorbatenko; political observer of the Political Observers Department at the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Stolichnoye Televidenie Olga Korshun; Director of the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Second National TV Channel Andrei Mokhor; and Head of the Department of Leading Information and Analytical Programmes of the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Second National TV Channel Yekaterina Tumas-Tishkevich.

In addition, the President’s letters of gratitude for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the protection of public health went to Chief Physician of the Minsk City Clinical Emergency Hospital Olga Svetlitskaya, Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery at the Republican Clinical Medical Centre (under the Property Management Directorate of the Republic of Belarus) Yuri Slobodin and epidemiologist of this Centre’s Department of Infectious Diseases Maria Alekseeva.
