Lithuanian Defence Ministry announced transfer of 3m small arms cartridges to Ukraine

The Lithuanian Defence Ministry reported that Vilnius handed over to Kiev 3 million cartridges for small arms and a batch of other military equipment, TASS reports

It is reported that the batch has already been delivered to Ukraine. In addition to cartridges, devices for remote detonation of charges and winter ammunition have been sent to Kiev.

Lithuanian Defence Minister Arvydas Anusauskas said that the country is in touch with partners and responds to ‘the most important needs and priorities of Ukraine’.

Lithuania has prepared a plan of assistance to Ukraine for the period up to 2026. It provides for the provision of military assistance in the amount of 200m Euros.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the volume of Lithuanian military supplies to Ukraine has exceeded 500m Euros.
