Lazarevich: foreigners who visited Belarus thank us for safety, good rest and quality goods
In her talk with Alfa Radio, First Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Executive Committee Nadezhda Lazarevich told what foreigners visiting Belarus say and what they are grateful for to our country
A trend is actively developing on social networks around the world in which foreign citizens share positive impressions from visiting Belarus.
“First of all, they always thank us for an opportunity to relax at any time, that we are safe. They understand that they can go out for a walk at 3 am. They also thank us for the opportunity to purchase goods of exceptional quality: food, clothing, cosmetics. This list can be continued indefinitely. We see a surge in sales of goods,” noted Nadezhda Lazarevich. “All producers say that December and early January were very productive. And the most important thing that guests of our capital say is that Belarus is developing and that we have a lot of new in our country. Those who come here one or more times throughout the year always notice something new in Belarus on each visit. I myself was on New Year’s Eve in one of the Belarusian large sanatoriums and saw how many guests we had, not only from the Russian Federation, but also from neighbouring states. Guests from Estonia, Lithuania, Poland came to us to leisure and celebrate the New Year with us. What does this mean? This means that people still have a good rest here, that we are safe and that love and respect for our country have not been lost, even despite what our ill-wishers write, tell and scare us by telling lies about Belarus. After all, people will return to their countries and tell that it’s possible to have a good rest here, that in Belarus it’ possible not only work, but also to have a good time with one’s own family.
