Khurelsukh: Belarusian President’s visit to Mongolia will open new page in bilateral relations
The state visit of the President of Belarus to Mongolia is historic, as it will open a new page in bilateral relations and strengthen co-operation – as stated by the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, at today’s talks with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in an expanded format
The President of Mongolia drew attention to the fact that, more than 30 years ago, Aleksandr Lukashenko visited Mongolia as a deputy. That was the time when the two countries established diplomatic relations.
“Your state visit will open a new page in the good and trusting relations between our peoples. It is a historic visit that will strengthen our relations and co-operation," Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh said.
The Mongolian leader noted the traditionally friendly relations between Belarus and Mongolia and stressed that the true relations of co-operation between the Mongolian and Belarusian peoples have a much longer period than since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
