Belarus is ready to overcome all sanctions barriers together with Venezuela – as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich at a meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Government’s press service
The Belarusian side once again congratulated Nicolas Maduro on his election victory and assumption of the presidency of the country. The Deputy Prime Minister conveyed warm greetings and congratulations from Belarusian Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko to the Venezuelan leader.
"We are confident that, under your leadership, the country will move towards further strengthening the independence of the state. We are ready to overcome all the sanctions barriers and obstacles together," Mr. Karankevich stressed.
In turn, Nicolas Maduro noted the high representation of Belarus at his inauguration.
"Venezuela remains a loyal ally and friend for Belarus," he said.
The Venezuelan President confirmed his readiness to visit Belarus this year, and also conveyed warm greetings to the President and the Prime Minister of Belarus, as well as to all Belarusian people.
