Japarov commented on global sanctions-related situation
The President of Kyrgyzstan commented on the situation with sanctions in the world, stating that the policy of restrictions will lead to an escalation of conflicts, RIA Novosti reports
"The conflict of geopolitical interests, the aggravation of contradictions between the world's leading powers and military-political blocs have undermined mutual trust between the countries and created a crisis, the consequences of which affect the global economy. The increase in restrictions on trade and so on due to the sanctions policy has become a factor that will lead to an escalation of conflicts and instability of the situation at the global level," Sadyr Japarov commented.
According to the President of Kyrgyzstan, the situation in the world remains tricky. It is changing not only regionally, but also globally, simultaneously accompanied by military and political actions. A growing threat to the military security of Kyrgyzstan reminds of the need to strengthen the military and state systems.
"A revision of the state's approach to ensuring military security and defence is required… A serious activity of international terrorist and extremist organisations remains a source of danger for all countries of the Central Asian region. It is gaining strength against the background of contradictions created in the system of interstate and interregional relations," Sadyr Japarov added.
