Neither side has reported any shellings or drone strikes after that time.

According to the settlement plan offered by the US, in the next 60 days the Lebanese army is to take control over the country's southern areas while Hezbollah withdraws its troops and infrastructure to the north of the Litani River that flows as close as 20 or 30 kilometres to the Israeli border in some places. Israel, in turn, fully withdraws its troops from the Lebanese territory.

The ceasefire agreement also envisions an US-led international oversight committee that would control its enforcement. Washington will provide Israel with military support in case of inevitable threats from the Lebanese territory, or any action needed to curtail possible Hezbollah attempts to re-enter the south.
