Hungarian party: Sweden's admission to NATO is provocation

The Chairman of the Hungarian right-wing Our Homeland Movement political party, Laszlo Toroczkai, said that Sweden's admission to NATO is a provocation, oil on fire and a step towards World War III, RIA Novosti reports

Mr. Toroczkai noted that Hungary considers ‘the expansion of NATO to the East extremely dangerous in the current situation’. According to him, this is ‘a kind of provocation, oil on fire, a step towards a devastating Third World War’. That is why, according to the politician, his party opposes the expansion of NATO.

The Hungarian Parliament ratified Sweden's application to join NATO during its first meeting of the spring session on February 26^th.
