Expert: West wants to set Belarus and Russia at loggerheads with allies through terrorism
At the beginning of the special military operation, the West wanted to isolate Belarus and Russia from the whole world, but it has failed – as stated by a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Oleg Gaidukevich, in his talk with the ONT TV channel

The MP noted, “At the very beginning of the special military operation, the West wanted to isolate Belarus and Russia from the whole world, but its plans have failed. The Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Africa are together with us now, therefore terrorism [on the part of the West] is now aimed at setting Belarus and Russia at loggerheads with all these states. [The Western elites are irritated since] Turkiye and Russia enjoy good working relations, despite all confrontations and conflicts. That is why Turkiye was mentioned in the case with the Crocus City Hall. The West wants to set these countries to quarrelling. Actually, it wants Russia to fall out with everyone.”
Mr. Gaidukevich added, “Terror is an extremist form of struggle. Where did terrorism come from anyway? Think back to 2003, when [the US] invaded Iraq. Millions of people were killed, tens of millions were left without everything. That trend began to spread all over the world. Do you remember how Yugoslavia was bombed? It was from there that the terror started to cover Europe. How can we assert that, when the war ends in Ukraine, terrorism will not come from there?”
