Expert said US main and strategic enemy is not Russia, but China
The United States of America perceives Russia as a current threat, but its strategic adversary is China, which is challenging on several fronts. This point of view was voice – as noted by political analyst Aleksandr Shpakovsky during his talk with ONT TV channel
The specialist noted, “Russia in the US is perceived as a current threat while the strategic enemy is China. China poses a serious challenge in the field of economics, as well as American hegemonism. Much of what is happening in Europe now must also be interpreted in the context of the confrontation between the United States and China. America seeks to gain complete military, political and economic control over the European Union, to strengthen itself at the expense of its resources. In the future, according to American strategists, this will enable them to make a technological breakthrough and defeat China in competitions in the field of economics, artificial intelligence, etc. In this regard, the US can create tension in the direction of both Taiwan and Korea."
