Erdogan: UN unable to avert conflicts

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the UN is not able to prevent conflicts in the world, RIA Novosti reports

In Erdogan’s words, the UN ‘has failed to avert conflicts worldwide, particularly in Gaza, and has proven insufficient in addressing crises’.

The Turkish leader also commended Brazil’s initiative of bringing up a global governance reform during its G20 presidency.
