Diplomat: Belarus, League of Arab States interested in deepening bilateral partnership

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the League of Arab States, Sergei Terentiev, met with the Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for International Political Affairs, Dr. Khaled Mohammed Manzalawi, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry

During the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in expanding and developing new formats of co-operation between the Republic of Belarus and the League of Arab States in various areas. The prospects of Belarus' liaisons with specialised institutions in the organisation, in particular, in the fields of agriculture, education, science and technology, were discussed.

Views on topical issues on the regional agenda were exchanged, and the constructive nature of the Belarusian-Arab partnership was emphasised. The parties declared openness for further strengthening of the bilateral ties.
