As informed, the BSU delegation visited the leading and oldest university in the country: the University of Jordan. The parties exchanged proposals on the forms of co-operation, and mutual interest was aroused by initiatives to organise guest lectures by Jordanian specialists in the field of teaching Arabic language and culture, internships for BSU teachers and students. “Prospects in the field of natural science partnership are open, while participation in educational practice-oriented refresher courses, training in English-language master's programmes in cybersecurity, information and aerospace technologies will strengthen the competitiveness of Jordanian specialists,” the source said.

The programme of the Belarusians’ visit to Jordan also included negotiations with the leadership of a number of universities. The parties focused on joint research projects, internships and publications. For example, the Al-Balqa Applied University is interested in joint research in the field of IT and contract development of electronics, while the Princess Sumaya University for Technology would like to implement joint projects dealing with additional education of adults.

To promote the BSU educational services, the Belarusian delegation held talks with a representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jordan, Abdelsalam Amin Nabulsi, members of the Association of Graduates of Belarusian and Soviet Higher Educational Institutions and the Cultural and Educational Association of Belarusians in Jordan.

In addition, a thematic exposition – BSU Open Days – was organised at all Jordanian universities, presenting the Belarusian institution’s educational and scientific activities.

In turn, a visit of the BSU delegation to the National Library of Jordan (NLJ) is important for the development of educational and cultural ties between the two countries. Book exchange, e-delivery of documents, creation of a collection on education, science and culture of Belarus were analysed in detail during the negotiations.
