British Foreign Secretary: Ukraine settlement may happen in late April

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated that the Ukraine conflict may be settled, with assistance from Donald Trump’s future administration, as soon as in late April, TASS reports

Noting that Donald Trump is yet to take office, David Lammy went on to say that the latest news suggest a slight deviation in his understanding that a deal will be reached on January 21st.

"Judging by the information that reaches us, this schedule has actually shifted around Easter [April 20th]," Lammy clarified.

Earlier, on the campaign trail, Trump has stated repeatedly that he plans to end the Ukraine conflict as a matter of days and generally stop all other wars that are ravaging the world. He reaffirmed that promise once again after the election result had been officially announced in the US.
