Bogodel: Belarus’ Armed Forces to prove their worth in any situation

Whatever the situation may be, the Belarusian Armed Forces will prove their worth – as stated by Colonel Andrei Bogodel, Deputy Head of the Department for Educational and Scientific Work of the Faculty of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus

Speaking about building up NATO’s military potential near the borders of the Union State, the speaker was asked whether we’re ready to repel possible aggression.

“Any outbreak of aggression will still be unexpected for those troops who will be stationed there, for the population. However, today we are preparing for a possible response, that’s for sure. Our Armed Forces will show themselves with dignity in any situation, I can guarantee that. The combat training that is being conducted today and the one that was at least 3-5 years ago – there is nothing even to compare. Members from the PMC Wagner came to us, and we worked with them very closely. They said that the Belarusian Armed Forces are really on the right path,” noted Andrei Bogodel.

At the same time, he underlined that the Belarusian state will do everything to ensure that the events of June 22nd, 1941, are not repeated.

“This is the most terrible date for us. I think that the entire military organisation of the state and our country’s political leadership will not allow any armed conflict on Belarusian territory. For this purpose, a decision was made to deploy tactical nuclear weapons; there is also a joint group of troops with Russia,” he added.
