Belarusians won gold at one of the largest dance sport tournaments in Russia
Young prodigies, current World vice champions, Mikalai Charniak and Lizaveta Hmyrak topped the ROC Juniors LA category at the landmark 30th Russian Open Dance Sport Championships that took place on October 26th-28th in St. Petersburg
The duo from Belarus danced their way to the top, demonstrating their exemplary skill and supreme originality of their programme among 473 couples in the ROC Juniors category.
“We are proud our guys represented our flag and our country so well once again, reaffirming the high level of dance sport development in Belarus. The results demonstrated at that tournament by other couples also speak for themselves,” said Anton Yuspa, President, Belarus Dance Sport Alliance.
Over 1,000 dance duos from 70 Russian regions and foreign countries competed in St. Petersburg.
