Belarus, Turkey discuss economic and humanitarian co-operation

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey, Viktor Rybak, met with the Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Mansur Yavas – as informed by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Turkey

The sides discussed topics of mutual interest in humanitarian co-operation between the capitals of Belarus and Turkey within the framework of their twinning ties, also focusing on the issues of trade and economic liaisons.

On March 25^th, Belarus and Turkey will celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

As reported by the diplomatic mission, Turkey became the first foreign state to recognise Belarus’ state independence.
