Belarus’ national stand on show at SATTE-2024 in India
A national stand of Belarus is presented at SATTE (South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange) in India, sb.by reports with reference to the National Tourism Agency
The Belarusian delegation is represented by the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the National Tourism Agency, Belavia Airline, travel operators of the republic, the Minsk hotel chain and Tourist Information Centre. The Ambassador of Belarus to India, Mikhail Kasko, attended the opening of the stand.
The exhibition – which will last until February 24th – has already witnessed negotiations between Director of the Department of Tourism Irina Voronovich and Director of the National Tourism Agency Dmitry Morozov with the leadership of India’s Association of Tourism Operators. The issues of the two countries’ cross-marketing, the most interesting types of tourism for Indian and Belarusian tourists, as well as prospects for further development of bilateral relations were discussed. Meetings were also held with representatives of Indian travel companies and the media.
“In addition, Irina Voronovich and Dmitry Morozov met with the Director General of Tourism at India’s Ministry of Tourism, Manisha Saxena. The parties discussed issues of bilateral co-operation, prospects for increasing the volume of mutual trips, and the development of air communication. Indian colleagues were invited to the Leisure-2024 international travel exhibition in Minsk. In addition, the meeting participants agreed on the mutual exchange of information tours for representatives of travel companies and the media of the two countries,” the National Tourism Agency reported.
