Belarus, India agreed to co-operate in forensic activities
A delegation of the Indian Embassy headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Belarus, Alok Ranjan Jha, visited the State Committee of Forensic Examinations (SCFE), sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of SCFE
During the working meeting, an agreement on co-operation in forensic expertise was signed by the State Committee of Forensic Examinations of Belarus and the Office of Forensic Expert Services of India’s Interior Ministry. It aims at liaisons in the field of scientific research on theoretical and legal, organisational and methodological problems of forensic expertise, the creation of new and the improvement of existing methods and techniques, and the exchange of experience.
The foreign guests were shown the capabilities of the Belarusian expert agency in the field of forensic examinations, the material and technical equipment of expert laboratories.
The Chairman of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations, Major General of Justice Aleksei Volkov, noted, “This co-operation will open new horizons for expert agencies and become an important step towards achieving common goals and objectives, while our joint research, scientific and practical activities will make the most effective use of the available resources and potential.”
