Belarus, Hungary discussed historical memory issues

An information event dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory was held at the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary, BelTA reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Budapest

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary, Vladimir Ulakhovich, informed the diplomatic mission guests on the work carried out in Belarus to prevent the falsification of history, to form an objective attitude of society to the historical past, to preserve and strengthen the unity of the Belarusian people.

The parties discussed topical issues of the domestic and international agenda, plans for further development of a bilateral dialogue – with focus on business and humanitarian ties.

In addition, The Fate of Women – The Fate of United Belarus book was presented at the event by its author: an Honoured Worker of Culture of Belarus, columnist of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency Alina Grishkevich.
