Belarus’ Foreign Ministry in contact with UNICEF
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Aleinik, has met with the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Belarus, Tanja Radocaj – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The sides reviewed implementation of the UN Children's Fund country programme for Belarus for 2021-2025, including issues of interaction with Belarusian partners within the framework of the relevant plan. They also discussed UNICEF support for project activities aimed to strengthen the national architecture to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as possible activities and initiatives dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the organisation.
The Belarusian side has expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the UN Children's Fund in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection.
