Belarus, Equatorial Guinea to open embassies in Minsk and Malabo
The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, after talks with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, told journalists about the two countries’ intention to open embassies in Minsk and Malabo on a reciprocal basis, BelTA reports
“To boost our co-operation, Equatorial Guinea promises to accredit a full-fledged ambassador to Minsk. And in the same way, I asked the Belarusian side to accredit the Belarusian ambassador to Equatorial Guinea. Thus, the diplomats will give additional impulse to all the agreements reached today,” said Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
He hopes that all the bilateral documents that were signed in Minsk during the official visit will move from theory into practice.
“Equatorial Guinea is ready to implement everything that was signed within the framework of this meeting [in Minsk],” said the head of this state.
