Khrenin discussed military co-operation prospects with Indian Defence Minister
Tashkent (Uzbekistan) has hosted a meeting between Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin, and Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry in its official Telegram channel
During the meeting, the heads of the two countries’ defence ministries touched upon the issues of bilateral military interaction and prospects for its development. They also discussed liaisons in the field of maintaining international peace and security under the UN auspices.
Moreover, Viktor Khrenin and Rajnath Singh stressed the existence of significant potential and prospects for the development of practical collaboration between Belarus and India, expressing interest in further strengthening military contacts.
On August 24th, Tashkent is hosting the Annual Meeting of the Defence Ministers’ of Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO).
