Belarus confirms its interest in intensifying political dialogue with Turkmenistan
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov with assumption of office as President of Turkmenistan – as reported by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"I am sincerely convinced that a solid foundation of bilateral relations created over the years of independence will enable Minsk and Ashgabat to successfully move forward along the path of further expansion of mutually beneficial co-operation," the Head of State noted.
The congratulatory message also reads, “Belarus confirms its interest in intensifying a political dialogue with Turkmenistan, strengthening contacts within international organisations, building up trade, economic and humanitarian ties."
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished health, prosperity and new achievements for the benefit of his native country to Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and peace, harmony and prosperity to the Turkmen people.
