Belarus, China confirmed coincidence of approaches on wide range of issues
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Yuri Ambrazevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus, Xie Xiaoyun – as reported by the Foreign Ministry’s press service
The sides exchanged views on Belarus-China co-operation in the United Nations and other international organisations, also emphasising the two states’ coincidence of approaches on a wide range of problematic issues on the international agenda and reaffirming strategic mutual support of each other in the UN.
The diplomats welcomed close co-operation between Belarus and China on human rights issues in multilateral and bilateral formats based on the principles of non-interference in internal affairs and recognition of the right of each state to an independent path of progressive development.
